Our
Story

How did Easy Ed Start?

I felt very unprepared when I was applying for my first teaching positions. Unfortunately, my University did not spend much time preparing us for interviews or telling us what to expect the process to look like. This led me to miss out on applying for positions at great schools and bombing multiple interviews. After getting to the interview stage at several schools, I began to understand what to expect and how to prep. However, after reflecting on my experience I thought, "What would happen if I knew all of this information from the beginning?" You shouldn't have to struggle landing your dream job because of a lack of preparedness. That's why I created Easy Ed. Your blueprint to the teacher interview process.

About Corey

I'm a high school social studies teacher. Before teaching, I worked at a bank supporting high net-worth clients. I had wanted to be a teacher since I was in third grade, but ultimately chose another path when I got to college. After working at the bank for over a year, I felt unfulfilled. The passion to be a teacher had never left me. This sounds crazy, but in the fall of 2018 on a trip to NYC a friend and I went to a palm reader just for fun. The palm reader told me I had been an educator in a past life and that was the final push I needed to make my dream a reality. A few weeks later I put in my notice, applied to graduate school for a Master's in Teaching, and now here I am (in my traditional new school year pic)!
